Choosing from the Many Horse Riding Schools in Surrey

Outside of its suburban areas, Surrey is well-known for having beautiful rolling countryside. For this reason alone, it should come as no surprise that there are many horse riding schools operating in the area. We realise that our own guests have a choice of different services and lessons to choose from. Sandra’s Riding School goes the extra mile to be the best.

While we happily accommodate riders of all ages and abilities, we are also one of the very few special needs riding schools in the Surrey area. From disabled riding lessons for those in wheelchairs to patient instruction for the more nervous pupil, we are here to accommodate all requirements and to help you get the most from our horses and ponies.

Being a disabled riding school, we have specially converted carriages that can accommodate wheelchairs. If you are travelling in to see us from anywhere in the Surrey area, give us a call in advance and we can arrange for a carriage to meet you in our car park. Our instructors and staff can transfer you to a carriage with care, dignity and respect.

The Understanding Special Needs Riding School in Surrey

While we’re always here to help our disabled visitors from the Surrey area, our special needs riding school caters for just about everybody! If you’re new to riding and feel a little nervous, we’re one of the few horse riding schools to introduce riders to horses and ponies through the use of our carriages, which are also great for the elderly too.

Once you feel more confident, why not try some time in the saddle? We have a sand school at our Surrey facilities where you can become more confident with your posture and your technique. Our instructors, our horse and our ponies are all calm, relaxed and patient. We move at your pace and only move on when you feel ready.

All traditional and disabled riding lessons ultimately extend into the surrounding Surrey countryside with accompanied hacking. If you’ve been looking for somewhere special where all of your requirements can be accommodated, please call us now. Our conventional and disabled horse riding school really is there for EVERYBODY!
